Just eat real food!
Ditch the processed, boxed, deep-fried, sugar, chemical laden stuff as much as you possibly can. Your body will love you for it the long run!
As a (former) self-confessed chocoholic and emotional eater – I know how daunting this can seem.
As a working mother of 3 – I know that there are never enough hours in the day.
As a nutritionist – I know the importance and impact the types and quality of food that we eat and feed our children can really be the difference between having and maintaining health, or not.
It’s taken me a while to realise that the sugar high really isn’t worth it, and eating real food is actually a lot more fun!
Making the change:
Start with something simple – like swapping vegetable/canola oils for olive or coconut oil, margarine for organic butter, and add avocado to almost everything!
Next time something runs out in the fridge or pantry, swap it for a healthier option, make your own, or just don’t replace it. (Tomato sauce is the next item on the list in our house!?).
